PROJECT TITLE: Vital Positive Train Control (PTC) Development

PROJECT MANAGER: Transportation Technology Center, Inc. (TTCI)
PROJECT OBJECTIVE(S) The objective of this project is to develop, test and demonstrate a revenue-service-ready, vital positive train control system in the TTCI facility and on an operating railroad. Positive train control will provide public benefits through a substantial reduction in risk to railroad passengers and railroad employees and improve the efficiency of the national railroad network.
